Originally released as 2 separate 7" EPs in 2023, Philly's premier Raw Punk band K.O.S. set the bar high for raw punk on the East Coast, pushing the formula of Discharge and 80s Swedish hardcore in a more intense direction. The True Disaster is a vinyl collection 12" intended to improve upon the original quality of the now out of print 7"s, and keep the music in print. A stronger and more powerful lacquer master cut at 45RPM by Dietrich Schoenemann at Complete Mastering provides a noticeable improvement in quality over the original releases, as well as the addition of a poster insert with photos and lyrics.
