Newest LP from Philly’s premier raw punk outfit. It’s been 3 years since their debut EPs, and in that time K.O.S. has evolved and matured, both in sound and practice. Keeping the roots of their earlier EPs with Discharge and 80s Swedish hardcore played in a more raw and devastating style, they have grown into the band working at their own pace to craft well written and meaningful songs beyond what most bands are capable of. The results are what will surely be the best raw punk album of the year, with songs that are dynamic and memorable, something that becomes more and more of a rarity as punk continues to regurgitate the Discharge formula ad nauseum. For K.O.S. to spend 3 years on something this high quality, improving on their existing sound and style, it makes you excited not only for this record, but what a hard working band like this could drop on us in another 3 years.
